This is an original, rolled, Swedish theatrical one-sheet movie poster from 1944 for a re-release of The Champion (1915) starring Charlie Chaplin, Bud Jamison, Edna Purviance, Ben Turpin and Lloyd Bacon. Charles Chaplin also directed the silent comedy. Walter Bjorne is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 27.5" x 39.25" (it has not been trimmed) and is very good to excellent, unused condition with minimal creasing from handling and long-term storage. It has never been folded.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). it is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.This rare and very collectible poster, printed in 1944 to promote a limited, Swedish theatrical re-release of The Champion, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
