This is an original, linen-backed, insert theatrical movie poster from 1955 for Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello, Marie Windsor, Michael Ansara, Peggy King, Richard Deacon, and Eddie Parker. Charles Lamont directed the horror comedy.
The poster measures 14" x 36" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. It was in very good condition prior to backing and restoration with minor wear and creasing along the edges along with a few pinholes from theatrical display. The poster was folded at the time of printing and had minor fold wear. The fold lines are much less visible after linen-backing. The poster is stored flat and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1955 to promote the theatrical release of Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy, is not a reproduction.
