Artist: Joseph SmithThis is an original, one-sheet poster from 1974 for a theatrical re-release of Ben-Hur. The 1959 classic film stars Charlton Heston, Jack Hawkins, Hugh Griffith and Haya Haraeet. William Wyler directed the movie and Joseph Smith is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and is in very good to excellent condition. Like most one-sheet posters printed before 1990, this poster was folded before being shipped to a movie theater. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. The poster has minimal edge and fold wear.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
