This is an original, half-sheet movie poster from 1953 for From Here to Eternity starring Burt Lancaster, Montgomery Clift, Deborah Kerr, Frank Sinatra, Donna Reed, Ernest Borgnine and George Reeves. Fred Zinnemann directed the classic World War II film.
The poster measures 22" x 28" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in good to very good condition prior to restoration with pinholes in the corners from theatrical display and wear, smudges and creases along the edges. It has never been folded. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer. The excess linen around the edges of the poster was trimmed away at some point to allow the poster to be framed.
Please look very closely at the photos as this is the exact poster you are buying. It is not a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
