This is an original six-sheet movie poster from 1962 for Hatari! starring John Wayne, Hardy Kruger, Elsa Martinelli, Gerard Blain, Red Buttons, Bruce Cabot, and Michele Girardon. Howard Hawks directed the adventure thriller. Frank McCarthy is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 81" x 81" and is in very good condition with some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on some of the fold-lines. There are spots of paper loss at a few of cross-folds. It was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap. The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1962 to promote the theatrical release of Hatari!, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
