This is an original three-sheet movie poster from 1958 for St. Louis Blues starring Nat 'King' Cole, Eartha Kitt, Pearl Bailey, Cab Calloway, Ella Fitzgerald, Mahalia Jackson, Ruby Dee, Juano Hernandez, and Jessie Ralph. Allen Reisner directed the musical based upon the life and music of W.C. Handy.The poster measures 41” x 81” and is in very good to excellent condition. The poster was printed in two sections designed to overlap and it was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. There are two tiny tears on a horizontal fold-line in the upper-right of the poster.
