This is an original Danish movie poster from 1965 for a theatrical re-release of The War of the Worlds starring Gene Barry, Ann Robinson, Les Tremayne, Robert Cornthwaite, Lewis Martin, and Ann Codee. Byron Haskin directed the classic science fiction film based on the novel by H.G. Wells. Kurt Wenzel is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 24.5" x 33.5" and is in very good condition with minimal edge/fold wear and a tiny, pinhole tear in the top-cross-fold. The poster was folded at the time of printing. It has has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
