This is an original, French theatrical movie poster from 1976 for Dersu Uzala starring Yuri Solomin, Maksim Munzuk, Vladmir Kremena, Dmitri Korshikov, and Svetlana Danilchenko. Akira Kurosawa directed the Siberian drama based on the 1923 novel by Vladimir Arsenyev.
The moyenne poster measures 22.5" x 30.5" and is in good to very good condition with wear along the bottom-right edge of the poster (with a tiny bit of paper loss) and a small, diagonal crease in the upper-right corner. The poster was subsequently used in a French-speaking region of Canada. It has a blue, film censor sticker in the bottom-right corner. The poster was folded at the time of printing. It has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1976 to promote the French and Canadian theatrical release of Dersu Uzala, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
