This is an original, Italian 2 fogli theatrical movie poster from 1997 for the special edition release of The Empire Strikes Back (1980). The film stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, James Earl Jones, Kenny Baker, Peter Meyhew, Frank Oz and Alex Guinness. Irvin Kershner directed the Star Wars sequel. Drew Struzan is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 39" x 55" and is in very good condition. It was folded at the time of printing and has some light creases along parts of the folds from long-term storage. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
